Trained in traditional Palmer Methods as well as Drop and Instrument Adjusting
Dr. Healy has been practicing Chiropractic in Vero Beach since 1996 and is proficiency rated in Activator Methods, attending yearly seminars since 1994. Other instruments used for spinal alignments include the Arthrostim and Percussor, Erchonia Laser and the adjustment tables are designed for Drop and Flexion Distraction. Therapies including Electrical Stimulation and Ultrasound are available for treatment of acute injuries sustained in sports and auto accidents.
Dr. Healy has had extensive training in biology and biochemistry as well as a Masters degree from Temple University in Biology and Science education. He taught high school biology in Indian River County and Biology and Anatomy and Physiology at Indian River college before getting his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer Chiropractic College.
Being involved in boardsports since a young teen and still actively participating in surfing, kiteboarding, biking and snowboarding, I have learned about injury and rehab first hand and know what it takes to get back in the game. Sprains and strains, broken bones, trauma surgery, joint resurfacing and more - been there done that. I know who to send you to if medical intervention is necessary.
